Research Opportunity for Teens at UCLA!

The Adolescent Brain Behavior Research Center (ABBRC) at UCLA is looking for individuals to participate in an MRI study on memory, learning, and perception. After completion of the study participants will receive a picture of their brain. Participants will serve as healthy comparison subjects for a study investigating the learning and memory abilities of adolescents and young adults who have been diagnosed with a thought disorder.

Participants will be paid $20/hour

 

Who is eligible to participate? You/your child may be eligible if he/she/they:

  • are between ages 12-21
  • has no personal or family history of psychiatric disorders

 

What does participation involve? A confidential phone screen will first be conducted to determine your child’s initial eligibility. If eligible, participation includes two visits to UCLA

  • Visit 1: Clinical interview and questionnaires
  • Visit 2: Brain scan (MRI)
