Pooja (she/her/hers) is a fifth-year graduate student in the UCLA Clinical Psychology program. She completed her B.S in Biological Sciences and her B.S in Psychology at the University of Maryland, College Park, and subsequently completed a research assistantship at UC Davis exploring neural correlates of aggression in early psychosis. Broadly, her interests include understanding and improving motivational deficits in adolescents and young adults with psychotic illness. Pooja’s dissertation research explores decision-making in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder using computational methods and structural neuroimaging methods such as diusion tensor imaging (DTI). Pooja will begin her clinical internship at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services in Fall 2022.
